The author of this blog lives in the Metro Detroit area and is happily married. She is a small business owner and loves what she does. She also hopes to be a professor one day. That or the owner of an arts academy and performance center.
She and her awesome husband (and best friend) have no kids (yet), unless you count their beautiful dog who is showered with constant affection and attention.
You might know her, and wonder why she is referring to herself in the third person. It is because she is now attempting to write anonymously because she likes to be silly, serious, contemplative, and thorough, and this is the place to do it. But some people have no tolerance for such a combination, don't like her, or her thoughts, and she's afraid of public opinion.

I'm honored that you read the Chronicle blog and that smart, insightful, funny young women--with you as their poster child, of course--find my stuff at Brainstorm entertaining, useful, intriguing, or simply fun fodder for your own work. Hats off to you, Milena, and I look forward to reading more of YOUR work.
Cheers and applause,
Gina Barreca
What a great thing you have here. I've spent the better part of my morning reading through your posts and resulting comments. What was wrong with the mean commentor? I happened to like the bike riding post. Anyhow, while I should be on the hunt or working on my freelance projects, I wanted to take the time to let you know that I've thoroughly enjoyed Shouting to Quiet the Thunder. If you don't mind, I'm going to continue to read it. It'll be a nice replacement to the newly found Mr. Mom job I have....... Keep up the great writing!
@ Gina Barreca - I love your work and thanks for taking the time to visit mine.
@ Ryan - thanks to you too, I appreciate you taking the time to write and glad my writing speaks to you. For sure, keep reading, I'll be writing.
