Subscribe to Shouting to Quiet the Thunder

There are two easy ways to keep up with the plethora of insights from my brilliant and sometimes deleterious mind!
Choose one or both options: RSS Feed or Email Subscription

To Subscribe via RSS Feed , click the link and choose an option in the top right corner. If you don't know what an RSS feed is, prepare to fall in love with it. This YouTube clip explains what that is.

To Subscrive via Email Subscription, just click the link and enter your email address. You will be asked to type in a verification code to prove you are not a robot. Although I'm totally cool with robots reading this blog.

About the Author

The author of this blog lives in the Metro Detroit area and is happily married. She is a small business owner and loves what she does. She also hopes to be a professor one day. That or the owner of an arts academy and performance center.

She and her awesome husband (and best friend) have no kids (yet), unless you count their beautiful dog who is showered with constant affection and attention.

You might know her, and wonder why she is referring to herself in the third person. It is because she is now attempting to write anonymously because she likes to be silly, serious, contemplative, and thorough, and this is the place to do it. But some people have no tolerance for such a combination, don't like her, or her thoughts, and she's afraid of public opinion.

Because of this, if you want to yell at me, but don't want others to know how mean you are, you are free to contact me via this handy-dandy private form.

I answer every email, but it may take a few days to hear back from me.

Follow Me Elsewhere on The Web

As a woman that wears many hats, you may be interested in checking out my other blogs and online activities:

Working the Voice: A blog about vocal technique and business essentials for artists, the companion blog to my professional services through The Voice Works Studio, LLC.

Art and Avarice: A blog dedicated to reviewing news and offering opinion related to arts, culture, and economics. I'm planning to get my PhD in Economics in the future, and with my background in the arts, I'm fascinated about the interplay between the two disciplines.

En Passant: the website of the voice and guitar duet my husband and I formed in 2004. We perform locally and promise to have more songs to download and CDs to sell soon!

Check out my videos on YouTube: these will range from lectures I have presented to vocal technique videos I have prepared for students, to a wide range of performances I take part in.

You can catch me on Twitter for the release of gems like,

"Why is there that impulse to try to straighten papers that are already stapled? You see it all the time."

Or more comedy gold,

"I have succumbed to so-called skinny jeans. Bending over is a challenge - I keep doing this weird one-legged arabesque move..."

If we've met or know mutual friends, please also friend me on Facebook!
