Memories

Today's Twitter Relaxation Challenge was to look at old photos. So many times our memories are shoved in boxes or stored on hard drives, never to see the light of day again.

Here's a couple I thought I'd share with you.

Above, clearly I'm a blogger-in-training, Rocking the Apple Old-School! (Check out the size of that mouse!!)

To the right, possibly my favorite series of photos, taken by my sister (who always had a great eye as you can tell), she calls these The Twyla Photos because my improvisational dance style was so avante garde.

I can remember that day like it was yesterday. It was steamy from the cool rain meeting the hot ground. The wet pavement felt so good on my feet, soaking in the rain on my Grandmother's driveway.

If they take requests in heaven: give me this moment back please...

I love those photos too. I sure miss that driveway. I had so much fun at Baki's house. I still frequently have dreams that I'm still at the house but it's now, not so much as a little kid, then I wake up and get really sad. So many amazing memories and times there. I sure miss it.

I also know those dance pictures! I have a set as well that I think I took with Baki's 'disc' camera. And me too Sash, I have dreams where I'm still there sometimes as a kid, and sometimes as an adult. We were lucky to have a place to go. Man.

Miss you.

(Plus I know that blue top Melon. I think it was ESPRIT).

When you coming out to see Sash????
